Rosington Dry Martini Cocktail

You will need for a single glass of this drink:

5-6 ice cubes
5-6 tablespoons gin
2 tablespoons Italian (sweet) vermouth
1 slice fresh orange rind

1 Put the ice cubes into a glass jug.
2 Pour the vermouth and gin over the ice.
3 Stir (dont shake) vigorously and evenly without splashing.
4 Strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
5 Twist the orange rind over the drink and drop it in.
