You will need for 1 glass:
4-5 Ice cubes
5-6 tablespoons gin
1.5-2 tablespoons Benedictine
1 slice fresh lemon rind
1.5-2 tablespoons dry French vermouth
1 Put the ice cubes into a glass jug.
2 Pour the Benedictine, vermouth and gin over the ice.
3 Stir vigorously, without splashing.
4 Strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
5 Twist the fresh lemon rind over the mixture, drop lemon rind into it and serve.
